About Us

Music has always been a huge passion of mine, and over the years I built quite a large personal collection of records. Although I played a couple of instruments (not particularly well), I realised that I enjoyed listening to music far more than performing it.

A few years ago, while moving house and going through renovations, most of my record collection had to be stored in a shed due to lack of space. Unfortunately, that shed developed a leak and much of the collection was badly damaged.

After salvaging what I could, I began selling some of the remaining records and testing whether others might enjoy them as much as I once did. That moment sparked the idea that eventually became Leaky Shed Records.
